Development For Peacebuilding
Development For Peacebuilding
Underdeveloped communities are predisposed to injustice and violence. Societies ravaged by poverty are at significant risk of conflict.
The driving forces around conflict and injustices, like corruption leads to deterioration and destruction of public infrastructure, disrupts trade and economic undertaking, distort markets and reverses decades of development.
By integrating nonviolence peacebuilding approach, we support communities to advocate for development while applying the “do-no-harm” approach. We are self-conscious to ensure that our work does not reignite existing tensions or provoke new disputes.
We work with grassroots communities, state and business stakeholders to ensure that development in resource poor and conflict affected communities are inclusive and sustainable, so that peace and prosperity go hand in hand.
